Why do I Play World of Warcraft?

What does WOW mean to me? Well my character is like a second me, my alter ego. Myself in a completely different world where I can kick butt, be fearless, and look damn good doing it. Hehe. Granted I could do those things in real life and I do to some degree;but lets face it, I can’t go running around with a sword killing people. That’s a sure way to go to prison and I wouldn’t want to do that anyways. Gross! That’s only fun to do in games. XD! Fantasy has always intrigued me. The magic, the excitement, the challenges, and of course the cool pretty things. So…Do I think World of Warcraft is a colossal waste of time and money? Yes. Will I stop it? No.

Nature and Gaming

Nature and gaming are my two passions. Usually gamers are inside dwellers but I also love to be outside. Some days I can lay outside in some cool grass under a shady tree and just chill there all day. Take in the air and observe what’s going on around me. It’s such a good feeling and that’s probably when I’m at my happiest. But on other days…it feels great to get into cozy pjs, curl up on my sofa or bed with my trusty laptop and just camp out. For the whole day and night. So yeah. I could never choose just one. These hobbies definitely don’t correspond with one another so its odd that I enjoy doing them both but I never said I wasn’t an odd person. =P

The CHSPE

I took the CHSPE today! There were three parts:Grammar, Reading, and Math. I don’t think those are the terms they used for them, but that’s what I’m calling them. No need for fanciness here. The reading and grammar parts were a breeze however the math was a bit weird. The whole thing took about 3 hours. Not bad…3 hours to spare me 2 more years of schooling. Whoo! Hopefully I passed it all. I’ll be able to check for my results online on July 23rd.

My 1 Year of High School/Future Plans

I only attended one year of high school. I was homeschooled through my freshman year and decided to go public for my sophomore year. There were a couple of classes that I enjoyed. I liked Biology because it actually interested me unlike some of the other useless, mind-numbing information that we’re required to learn. (referring mainly to History with that last disdainful comment) I also liked PE because I pushed myself really hard and was able to lose a ton of weight. All my years of homeschool made me a fatty. XD It also made me socially akward but I soon broke out of that and made friends with a fun bunch of interesting characters whom I grew to love and admire. As great as it would be to spend another two years with them I decided to get out early instead by taking the CHSPE. (Similar to the GED) I want to get a head start on things before turning 18 and moving out. I’m planning to take a class out at adult school for 6 months to pick up a trade, possibly being a pharmaceutical technician. I figure that’s a good field to be in, people will always want drugs. =P So anyways, after that I’ll get a full time job and save up some sweet mula for a little over a year to make the transition to my own place a smooth one. Well, hopefully.

I’ll post my progress on all of this at a later date.

A Tad Bit About Me

My name is Jess, just Jess. I’m 16 right now. (Birthday is in December) I pretty much have only two moods. I’m either elated or wrathful. Mostly in my happy state but sometimes the Irish in me comes out. I live a pretty uneventful life, for now that is. My family are crazy JW’s who like to keep me trapped in their home and lifestyle. I could easily let that bring me down and make me miserable…but I prefer to ignore it all and be the happy spirited person that I am. I’m agnostic, in case you’re wondering. Hmmm, what else? I love blueberry eggos without any butter or syrup. I’m a fan of Pepsi as you’ve probably already guessed by my username. I have a habit of belting out random 80’s songs or dumb commercial tunes while driving. My passengers hate me for this. I like to edit pictures on HP Photosmart Premier and I’m an alright artist. I might post some of my work later. My favorite color is purple. I’m a natural redhead. And mostly Irish but I think I already mentioned that. That’s all for now. I plan to make posts about things I enjoy, things I don’t, things happening in my life…All that jazz.

EDIT:I did the rainbow hammerhead up on my header when I was experimenting with the kawaii look. Turns out my scanner sucks. It messes up the colors and makes it look all blurry. I’m not so sure I want to scan my other stuff if it ends up looking so crappy on the computer. Hehe.
